You're Invited to a Dance Party
A PTO-Sponsored Elementary School Dance Party, this Tuesday!
No time for weepy anecdotes or heartwarming butter-ups! It’s little league baseball season and that means this newsletter is stripped to the bone, with only the info you absolutely need. And what you need is absolutely FREE Kona Ice.
FREE Kona Ice and DJ Dance Party — Tuesday, April 30
On Tuesday, April 30, from 5:30 until 7:00, internationally renowned DJ and local hero dad DJ MAX will be emceeing our first ever green-top Dance Party on the basketball courts behind Johnson Elementary. Pack a picnic dinner and wear your dancing shoes because DJ MAX is going to be thumping and bumping through 90 minutes of non-stop kid-friendly jams in the Johnson backyard, and your kids won’t want to miss it.
As if that’s not enough to warrant your attendance, the famous Kona Ice truck will be on hand from 5:30 until 6:30, giving out FREE cups of their flavored fluffy snow for whoever wants one.
So pack some food, come ready to jump around, and enjoy a sweet treat on us! See you Tuesday night.
Last day to donate to the Bounce House fundraiser
Tomorrow, Friday, April 26 is the last day to donate to Johnson’s Bounce House fundraiser. You can send cash with your kid to turn in to their teacher, or Venmo the PTO by clicking the button below. Just be sure to include your kid’s name and class in the memo field, so we know which class should get credit for the donation. The PTO is matching the funds the kids raise, and the two classes that raise the most money get extra time in the bounce house on Field Day. Thanks!
Fabio’s Pizza Fundraiser Night, May 28
Finally, our last restaurant fundraiser of the school year will be Tuesday, May 28 at Fabio’s NY Pizza on E High St. Dine in or take out from Fabio’s in Charlottesville on that evening and the PTO will get a cut of the proceeds. See you there!
