Welcome back, Learning Leopard Families!
Dear Tall Oaks Families,
We are so excited to kick off another school year! We have a few fun things to share as you get ready for next week.
PTO at the Meet and Greet/Leopard Luau on August 11th- We will be at the Leopard Luau next Monday from 1-4 pm. We have some giveaways as well as a fun art project. Come say hi!
Playground Hang on August 16th- Please join us on the playground at Tall Oaks (in the back of the school) on Saturday, August 16th, from 9-11 am! Meet other families, eat tasty donuts, and drink some coffee!
First PTO Meeting -Join us for our first all-school PTO meeting of the year on Tuesday, September 16 at 6:30 PM in the Tall Oaks cafeteria. These meetings are a great way to stay informed about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. We typically feature a guest speaker and offer an open forum where you can share questions, ideas, and feedback. It’s also a great chance to connect with other Tall Oaks families and help build our school community. Dinner will be hot and ready, and free childcare will be provided by the YMCA. We’d love to hear from you, bring your thoughts, questions, and suggestions!
Magnets for sale $5- We have new Tall Oaks car magnets! Represent TOES while driving around town. We will be selling them at the meet and greet and the playground hangout- Venmo preferred, but we will have credit and cash sales as well.
Grade Liaisons- We are seeking parents from each grade to act as our Grade Liaisons. These parents would be the go-between for the teachers in the grade and the PTO board. They would help with teacher appreciation, *light* communication duties, and would attend our 4 PTO meetings during the year to provide updates on what is going on in that grade. If you are interested in representing your grade, let us know!
Sunshine Committee- Do you have a great idea for a way to celebrate our teachers? We would love to hear it! The Sunshine Committee organizes treats for the teachers each month. Examples include a chili bar, baked potato bar, pumpkin spice breakfast treats, and more! Reach out if you would like to be part of it!
