PTO Meeting Tomorrow Night!
Join us Tuesday evening in the Johnson cafeteria for THRILLING LIVE PTO CONTENT
The first meeting of the 2023/2024 Johnson Elementary Parent Teacher Organization is Tuesday, September 19 at 6:00 p.m. in the Johnson cafeteria.
What’s happening: A PTO meeting, with special guest Principal Georgette JoJo Mickens. We will discuss upcoming events and fundraisers, hear from Principal Mickens, and ask for your thoughts on how you think the PTO can best serve the Johnson community.
Why it matters: The PTO is a terrific forum for communication between parents and the school. Every meeting is an opportunity to have your voice heard by the people who can effect change, or to become one of those people yourself.
Zoom out: There will be pizza, and childcare will be provided in the iStem room. It’s all carrot, no stick here at the Johnson PTO. Bring the family, eat some dinner, engage with your community.
One more thing: There is a Bus Driver Appreciation Breakfast tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m. This is an opportunity for parents, staff, and the community to drop in and thank our Charlottesville Schools bus drivers for their hard work. The event takes place at 1545 Avon St Extended in the Charlottesville Area Transit Conference Room. Stop by and say hello to our wonderful bus drivers!
