Introducing Leopard Links!
Families supporting families.
Building Connections. Sharing Strengths. Supporting Each Other. Leopard Links is a way for Tall Oaks families to help each other. It’s about friendship, sharing, and support.
How it works: Interested families can fill out this form to sign up. Fill out the form to be “linked” with another Tall Oaks family. Families are paired to connect across all backgrounds and languages. A Leopard Links organizer will reach out to schedule a time to introduce you to your link family. Families can support one another in many ways, from sharing school tips, to transportation to swapping community resources to just being a friendly face at school events.
Who can join? Every family is welcome! Whether you’re new to the school or have been here for years, Leopard Links is about combining our strengths to support each other.
When does it start? Sign up for anything. Once you have met your link family, you can contact each other at your convenience. Every few months, Leopard Links will host optional get-togethers where families can hang out, make friends, and have fun.
What if I like the idea but I'm unable to commit to being a “link” right now? Please reach out ot talloaks.leopardlinks@gmail.com! You don’t have to be linked with a family to come to events or help in other ways that aren’t listed here.
To learn more, email talloaks.leopardlinks@gmail.com or WhatsApp, call, or text Ali Johnson at 205-903-3449.
The first event of the year is on September 24th at Forest Hills Park from 5-7pm. It is a potluck, so bring your favorite dish and meet new families!
