Hello! It’s your friendly neighborhood PTO dropping in on your summer break to gently remind you that real life returns to its chaotic and frantic and wonderfully normal school year baseline in just two and a half weeks. Summer? What summer?! It’s practically Thanksgiving already.
Josephine’s Village 5K
The annual Josephine’s Village 5K, created by Johnson Elementary’s own speech language pathologist and her family, is coming up on August 17. Sign up before the price goes up on August 1 to support a worthy cause. You can even run with fellow Learning Leopards families if you sign up at this link!
PTO at Teacher Meet & Greets
The PTO will have a table set up at the front of the school to say hello to anybody who wants to have a quick chat. Please stop and say hi to Jill! She’s been so lonely this summer.
Back sidewalk FIXED!
And don’t forget to take a stroll to the back of the school, where you can see for yourself that the sidewalk has been repaired with glorious fresh asphalt. Gaze upon it, slide your feet along its crack-free surface, roll your various wheeled conveyances across its unbroken gentle curves
